Cord Controls Ltd

CORD CONTROLS LIMITED was established in 1988 with the aim to supply safe and reliable control panels and system designs to the industry.

Our Office and Manufacturing facility is situated in Countesthorpe near Leicester.

As well as designing and manufacturing controllers for the Food industry, Materials handling, Dust & Fume extraction and Silo protection we soon specialized on Lift-Controls.

Our aim was to design and build a lift-controller using a range of “off the shelf” parts. We have achieved this by incorporating Mitsubishi FX-type Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Mitsubishi Inverters and Mitsubishi Human Machine Interfaces (HMI).

Mitsubishi PLC’s have proven to be very reliable, with units as old as 20 years still operating on many lift-installations.

Every controller is built to customer specification.

All our control-panels are manufactured by skilled engineers to highest quality standards.

Customer service, after-sales support and a quick turnaround are the most important parts in our Client relations.

Blain Hydraulics

Since 1970 Blain hydraulics has specialized in the design and manufacture of the finest and safest control valves for hydraulic elevators.

With over half a million Blain valves in operation worldwide, we are a leading company offering a wide spectrum of accessories and solutions for the elevator industry. Each valve is adjusted and shipped as per our customer’s requirement. Adjustment on-site is rarely necessary.

From our most modern manufacturing factory in Heilbronn, Germany high quality products are manufactured, meeting industry standards including CSA, EN-81.
