Delivery & Returns Policy

DELIVERY

We endeavour to deliver all stock items on a next working day service from receipt of order.

Our Standard delivery service is as follows;

All orders UNDER £50.00 Net that are placed on a standard next working day service will be subject to a packing and carriage charge of £25.00 + VAT. All orders over £50.00 Net that are placed on a standard next working day service will be delivered free, UK Mainland Only.

Timed delivery service available but this service is not 100% guaranteed, we will endeavour to deliver the goods on your requested timed service.

Pre 10.30am Next Working Day - £58.00 + VAT

Pre-Noon Next Working Day - £44.00 + VAT

Timed delivery charges will still apply one hour after the stated time. Once this has passed, then we will downgrade this service to next day delivery as above.

* Exclusions apply for larger-bulkier items such as Hoardings. Carriage cost for these items will be quoted at the time of order placement. *

Same Day services and Saturday services are not available.

All the above charges are based on delivery to MAINLAND UK ONLY. Delivery charges will differ for other areas.

Elevator Equipment Limited will use reasonable endeavours to meet delivery estimates but in no circumstances shall it be liable to compensate the Customer for non-delivery or late delivery.

Additional charges will apply to non-stock items. Please contact our sales team.

Loss or Damage in Transit

All orders are confirmed 24 hours before delivery, If an order has not been delivered once confirmed, please contact our sales team immediately. If any items are missing or your order is incorrect, please contact our sales team. All missing items and incorrect orders can only be resolved in 5 working days from your date of order confirmation.

RETURNS POLICY

Goods shall NOT be returned for any reason without the prior agreement of the seller.

All goods sent in error, ordered in error or are surplus to requirement can be returned under the following conditions; They must be returned within 10 working days of receipt. They must be unused, in the original boxes and complete with all relative manuals, certifications and delivery notes. A restocking charge will be applicable, and any third-party costs will be deducted, including outward carriage costs. Any goods that have been bought in specifically or programmed especially will be sold on a non-return basis.

Goods to be returned will be issued with a company returns document and returns number - DO NOT SEND ANY ITEMS BACK WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENT!!

SAFETY ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned if ordered in error, they can only be returned if they are faulty or damaged, which will be approved by our company Technical Director.
Overspeed Governors, Safety Gears, Oil Buffers, Door Locks.

We offer a 12-month warranty on all our products from the date of delivery. Any products that are returned faulty within this period will be tested and inspected by either ourselves or returned to the original manufacturer. If they are found to have manufacturing default, then a credit note will be issued. If it is assessed as 'site damaged' then it will be returned to the buyer.

Please note that the following products cannot be returned after 5 working days under warranty if the coils have been damaged by incorrect current, incorrect voltage or burn out. Once ordered, they can only be returned for faults resulting from the manufacture. This will be approved only by our company Technical Director.
