Product Description
The DLF2MO motorised lift door lock is a robust, maintenance-free locking solution designed for reliable operation in passenger lift applications. Its high-quality metal housing, low-noise motorised actuation and energy-efficient operation provide dependable performance throughout the life of the installation.
Key Features & Benefits
- Robust metal housing providing excellent strength and stability.
- Transparent cover allowing easy visual inspection and monitoring of the locking mechanism.
- Low-noise operation, with integrated buffers providing controlled and quiet movement in both directions.
- Maintenance-free design with permanent lubrication using high-quality lubricants suitable for temperatures down to -30°C.
- Oiled felt sealing rings on the latch bolts provide continuous lubrication while helping prevent the ingress of dust and dirt, for X-dimensions of 10 mm or greater.
- Controlled faulty-closure function on the DLF2MO, making it suitable for use in passenger lift applications.
- Solid fine-silver-plated contacts provide reliable electrical performance, including at low voltages and currents.
- Auxiliary switch incorporating one additional contact.
- Comprehensive range of accessories available for a variety of installation and emergency-release requirements.
Motorised Actuation
The DLF2MO incorporates a maintenance-free, low-noise three-phase motor for automatic actuation, with controlled deceleration of the locking bolts during operation.
The motor provides high starting power while maintaining a low pull-in current of less than 1 A at 24 V DC. Once the lock has operated, the system automatically switches to a reduced holding current of less than 0.2 A, significantly reducing energy consumption during continuous operation.
Safety & Monitoring
The locking system incorporates position monitoring, providing safe unlocking even where the locking bolts have been temporarily obstructed due to incorrect operation.
Integrated coloured LED status indicators provide a clear visual indication of the lock's operating condition, while the built-in terminal block provides convenient access to all electrical connections.
Emergency & Manual Release
For safe and convenient access from the lift pit, the DLF2MO can be released using the cover-side emergency triangle or an optional pull lever for manual operation.
Connections are also available for a Bowden cable or cable-pull release system, allowing the emergency release point to be positioned remotely where required.
Typical applications include:
- Pit ladder release: Allows unlocking from the pit ladder, with the release positioned below 1.80 m, in accordance with EN 81-20 requirements.
- Offset emergency release: Allows an offset emergency release triangle to be positioned below 2.0 m, in accordance with EN 81-20 requirements.
Patent Protected Technology
The DLF2MO incorporates patented technology protected under German patent DE 20 2015 105 331 and European patent EP 3 153 454 B1, validated in Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
The DLF2MO is designed for passenger lift door locking applications where reliable locking, low energy consumption, minimal maintenance and convenient emergency release are required.
