A powerful, hands-free head torch built for engineers and technicians working in low-light environments such as lift motor rooms, shafts, and plant rooms, where reliable illumination is essential and hands are often occupied or dirty.
The CLH320 delivers a maximum output of 320 lumens with a beam range of up to 60 metres, combining a central spot LED with a COB (flood) LED for white light, plus side LEDs providing red light output for preserving night vision or working discreetly. The push buttons on top of the light control spot high, spot low, spot flashing, red, and red flashing modes, while holding the button down accesses the flood COB LED individually or in combination with the other outputs.
A standout feature for engineers working in awkward or grimy conditions is the built-in hand wave sensor: the torch can be switched on and off simply by waving a hand in front of it, within a 15cm range — ideal when hands are dirty, gloved, or otherwise occupied during installation or maintenance tasks.
The torch is powered by a built-in lithium polymer rechargeable battery, charged via a supplied Micro-USB cable, with a run time of up to 9 hours on low mode, removing the need to carry spare batteries during long shifts. Five blue indicator LEDs show charging progress and illuminate on power-up to display remaining battery level, so users always know how much charge is left.
Built for durability and everyday site use, the torch weighs just 102 grams and features high-visibility yellow buttons for easy identification in industrial environments, a fully adjustable nylon headband for comfort, and a hinged bracket allowing the light to be angled downwards within a 45° range to direct the beam exactly where it's needed. The torch carries an impact resistance rating of 1.5m and a 1-year warranty.
